I, TheWebShark, designated leader of the Scruffy Nerfherders Guild, in the Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes game, do hereby decree the following changes in guild policies, practices, and procedures, to be in effect immediately, on this the 16th day of February, in the year 2017.
We have been tracking a variety of member participation activities in the guild. This was started in early January as a way to keep track of who was adhering to the pre-raid check-in rule. However, this has evolved a bit over time. Below is the list of items that we currently track on a weekly basis.
Amount of guild exchange donations, amount of raid tickets earned, and amount of guild coins earned, are NOT currently being tracked. There has been discussion about making these requisites for guild membership, or adding them to the guild participation score....but we have tabled these discussions as our focus for the first quarter of 2017 has been around the raids, and increasing our overall raid participation.
We have a shared google spreadsheet that only the guild leadership team can see and use. We use the data from the 3 items above, to extrapolate a guild member's participation score/grade.
Utilization of 3rd party communication tools (Line, Discord, Telegram, Facebook, Kik, Hangouts, etc...) are highly recommended, but not required at this time. Utilization of 3rd party apps are NOT used as a metric in the participation score/grade.
Guild leaders will NEVER require a member to provide real life or personal data.
Currently, the only enforced rule that could cause a member to be removed from the guild is failure to comply with the PRE-RAID CHECK-IN policy for the Rancor Raid. In addition to that, We will consider removing an existing member with a very low participation grade (F), in order to let a more active and more involved, and more communicative player into the guild.
Guild leadership will always make reasonable efforts to communicate with and notify guild members about any and all updates, or changes to guild activities and guild operations.
Guild leaders can provide the participation score/grade for a guild member who is requesting to know their own score/grade. We would prefer to provide that info in a private 3rd party app, so its not visible to the entire guild. However, if member is ok with guild leaders doing so, we will share that member's score/grade via the in-game chat.
I thank you for your unequivocal support, your absolute compliance, and your altruistic adoration. :-)
Sincerely,
TheWebShark
